If You've Never Done This Before, That's Perfectly Fine
Walking into a new clinic can feel overwhelming — especially if past experiences haven't been great, or if you've been putting this off for a while. We get it.
That's why we want you to know exactly what's going to happen before you get here. No surprises. No fine print. No moment where someone hands you a bill you didn't expect. Just a straightforward, honest process from start to finish.
Whether you're coming in for a consultation or you're already booked for treatment — here's what your experience at Renew will look like.
What Happens at Your Free Consultation
You're Welcomed In
Our reception team greets you by name. The clinic is clean, modern, and recently renovated — with a comfortable waiting area and complimentary coffee and refreshments for you and anyone who comes with you. You'll feel the difference the moment you walk in.
A Real Conversation
Tom sits down with you and listens. Not a rushed assessment — a real conversation about what you've been through, what's been bothering you, and what you're hoping to achieve. No guilt, no judgment, no matter how long it's been.
A Thorough Assessment
We take 3D scans and digital images of your teeth and jaw. Tom and Dr. Alex review everything together and explain what they see — in plain English, not clinical jargon. You'll understand exactly what's going on and what your options are.
Your Plan & Price
We walk you through the recommended treatment, the timeline, and one clear, all-inclusive price. No hidden fees. No surprise charges after the fact. You take the plan home, think about it, and decide at your own pace. There's no pressure to commit on the spot.
From Plan to Smile — Here's How Treatment Works
Before Your Procedure
Once you've decided to move forward, we schedule your treatment day. If you've chosen sedation, we'll give you instructions on preparation — what to eat, when to arrive, and who to bring as your ride home. Everything is planned around your comfort.
Treatment Day
You arrive knowing exactly what's going to happen. Dr. Alex places the implants, and Tom's team in the onsite lab designs and fits your new teeth — often in the same visit. You'll leave the clinic with teeth in your mouth. For most patients, this is the moment they say "I should have done this years ago."
Recovery & Follow-Up
Most patients manage recovery with over-the-counter medication and are back to soft foods within a day or two. We schedule follow-up visits to check healing and make any adjustments. Within a few months, once your implants have fully integrated, your permanent bridge is placed — and from there, it's just regular checkups.
What Changes After Your Procedure
You Eat What You Want
Steak, corn on the cob, apples — the foods you've been avoiding are back on the menu. Implant-supported teeth give you full bite strength, so you stop planning meals around your limitations.
You Stop Thinking About Your Teeth
No more adjusting your denture. No more covering your mouth when you laugh. No more dreading social situations. Your teeth just work — the way they're supposed to.
You Show Up Differently
Patients tell us it's more than just teeth. It's confidence. It's energy. It's showing up for things they'd been avoiding. It's a change that ripples through every part of their life.
A Quick Checklist for Your Consultation
- Your current dentures or dental appliances (if applicable)
- Any X-rays or treatment plans from previous dentists
- A list of medications you're currently taking
- Your insurance card or CDCP information
- A list of questions — seriously, write them down and bring them
- A friend or family member, if you'd like the support (they're welcome)
Don't worry if you don't have everything. We'll work with whatever you bring and fill in the gaps together.
It's Not Just the Results — It's How You're Treated

You're in good company. Many of our patients haven't been to a dental office in years — sometimes decades. We never judge, we never lecture, and we never make you feel bad about where your teeth are right now. We just focus on where you want to go. Learn about our approach to dental anxiety.
